Dreaming of Tomatoes, MS
“Dreaming of Tomatoes” MS, earned the Audubon Artists Gold Medal of Honor for Sculpture in 2010.
Life-sized Miniature Smooth (MS) 14.5"W x 5"H x 8.75"D Bronze Ed. 20 & 2 Artist's Proofs ©2007. Approx. 13 Pounds
“Dreaming of Tomatoes” is my second sculpture of a dachshund, and was the first to be cast in bronze. In this MS version I tweaked the hip to give it a bit more definition. Collectors have sited her on a hearth, on a window seat, on a couch -- and on the arm of a couch -- anywhere one might find a lovely lady nestled peacefully. Each is crafted by hand, one at a time, signed, numbered and include my mark, . Enjoy!
