Dear to my Heart-Long, Design Two
August 4, 2009, the Pine Plains Police Dept. responded to a call from Chisholm Gallery, Three Factory Lane, Pine Plains, NY. Two of my bronzes had been stolen!
"Sweet Roll' 1:6 Scale, 13/99, black & tan patina, and the bookends titled "Squirrel Season Smooth" 31/99, red patina.
If you happen upon these stolen pieces, PLEASE CALL the Pine Plains POLICE: 518-398-5234, and Chisholm Gallery, 518-398-1246, and ME at 636-532-3216! Many kind thanks!
"Dreaming of Tomatoes", 1:6 Scale, #62/99, with a light red & green patina, was stolen from Shippers Supply, Loveland, CO, in Spring 2001.
"Dear to my Heart-Long, Design Two” Slide, AP1/9, ©2001, was stolen August 9, 2007 near Atlanta, Georgia. This Medium-Relief Wearable Sculpture is sterling silver, includes Joy’s mark, JKB. It is approximately 1 1/8”W x 1”H x 5/8”D sterling, and is suspended on a 17” long, 2mm. sterling silver serpent chain with custom toggle closure.

Squirrel Season Smooth
Oh Joy!
The photos don't do your (now, MINE, all mine) "Squirrel Season" bookends justice.
They are absolutely exquisite -- They are all heart. I love their earnest expression, flapping ears and, of course, THE PAWS. That chattering squirrel doesn't stand a chance against this mighty pair.
I am finding it hard to look elsewhere. Your art makes me very happy.
Also, thanks so much for the written materials. I look forward to dipping into it.
Best, ALF Swenson, TX
